ADP were requested to consult with the young people from the YMCA, Lancaster Centre and determine a design for a new youth orientated café

The YMCA only had a small budget to change the Café area. Through listening to and the interpretation of ideas from the young people a number of
solutions were identified.

The selection of furniture provides informal and continually flexible layouts that can be changed by the café visitors throughout the day and be easily removed for evening events. Additional furniture specification includes high stools complete with café logos, meeting tables that perform as “white boards”, 1960’s style egg chairs for computer game playing and the option for full size graphics to be applied to doors on the unisex toilets and other areas.
