Bright Sparks, Islington

ADP was asked to transform an existing office in Islington and provide a cost effective retail outlet for recycled and refurbished small domestic electrical goods, ranging from toasters and coffee machines through to computers and games consoles.

ADP specified a recycled metal shop display system, but enhanced this with a felt manufactured from recycled PET waste and plastic dividers made from 100% recycled yogurt pots. The floor covering is a natural rubber system and the entrance mat is made from recycled car tyres.

The reception desk and other display items were supplied by Green Works using recycled yogurt pot material and their own recycled office desktops.

“The products are selling faster than we can collect them.”

Simon Carrol, Communications Officer, Islington Council
